The group been instrumental in offering artists the opportunity to hone their skills in drawing and painting since 1969. Originally established by Christine Reynolds and taught by Betty Folsom at Oakes Ames Memorial Hall in North Easton, the group offered local artists the opportunity to experiment and learn new techniques, enter shows and sell their work.
In 1996, the group was renamed The Christine Reynold's Art Group, after its founder, and moved to the Felos Memorial Art Center in Stoughton. Following the passing of Ms. Folsom in 2002, the group renamed itself the Folsom Reynolds Art Group and has continued on through the guidance of instructors Heather Risley and Mary Rolfe.
